Measuring agency pursuant to § 29b Federal Immissions Control Act
Our consultancy is notified as a measuring agency for the determination of noise emissions and immissions pursuant to § 29b of the German Federal Immissions Control Act and works within the constraints of a quality management system compliant with EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The consultancy was founded in the early 1990s by the engineer Heinz Peter Busch and has been led in the second generation since 2000 by the engineer Henning Busch. He is a publicly-appointed and sworn expert witness for sound emissions and immissions, and architectural and room acoustics by the Kiel chamber of industry and commerce.
A special focus of the consultancy is sound immission control on wind turbines. We surveyed our first facilities as early as the mid-1990s. To allow us to be constantly up-to-date, our consultancy is a member of the Fördergesellschaft Windenergie e.V. Wind Turbine Noise Working Group, which is responsible for the Technical Guideline for Determining the Sound Emission Values of Wind Turbines.
In addition, our expert witnesses are members of the German Acoustical Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Akustik (DEGA)) and follow the technical committees for architectural and room acoustics, and noise: impacts and control. Moreover, within DEGA we are part of a national network of cooperating expert consultancies.
